I put together a dish similar to beef stroganoff with some of the left over prime rib from the Aussie Shiraz wine dinner and some other leftovers in the fridge. Then went rummaging around in the wine cellar for something to go with it. I stumbled on 2018 Melipal Malbec! Full bodied, very balanced and a great pairing with the creaminess of the sauce. Not sure where that bottle came from or how much it cost. We may need to do an Argentinian red wine tasting!
