Margie and I had some neighbors over this past Tuesday night for dinner. I grilled a pork tenderloin that had been marinating for four hours in soy sauce, dried mustard and rosemary. I prepped a chorizo sauce to go with it and Margie whipped up some scalloped potatoes and a Caesar salad. The chorizo paired well with the 2017 Henry’s Drive Shiraz-Cab blend I popped open. Without the chorizo it paired well with a Sonoma-Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay for Margie. Nice thing about pork, it pairs well with reds or whites and this presentation would have also worked with a Pinot Noir as well.
